Halloween Is Coming..

YES it is! While you might not know that by today's temperatures in the 90's, Fall will soon have us in it's grip. I love Fall and Halloween, so right NOW is the right time to create all of my Fall and Halloween decor.

This year I wanted something cool to hang on my door. I was thinking of a wreath, but soon found a great broom that fit the bill instead. Check it out..



These brooms are easy to decorate. All I needed was some ribbons and a wooden plaque to alter. I used lime green paint on a wooden plaque for this broom.



I tied ribbon onto the broom and then adhered the finished wooden plaque with a bit of help from a glue gun. It was easy-peasy!

All Hallow's Eve Witch Hat

I'm a Halloween girl. Halloween is my favorite holiday, yes I love it even more than Christmas! I adore dark and spooky nights, scary movies, falling leaves, glowing pumpkins, and all things witchy. The new All Hallow's Eve collection from Moxxie is my current paper crush.



Once I saw it I couldn't wait to dive into it and create like mad. I had several ideas for this collection, and I started with a show stopper. I have seen headbands with little fabric witch hats sewn onto the tops of them. Just throw on a headband, and you can get your "witchy kicks". It's the "easy button" of Halloween costuming! Well, seeing the prices on these made me decide that I could easily make one up for myself. All I needed to buy was a foam cone and a thick headband, I had plenty of feathers, tulle, ribbons, and of course, the PERFECT papers. Here's my witch hat using All Hallow's Eve:






Wearing this hat has a way of making one feel like casting a spell, lol!

Today I'm sharing a layout I made with Very Merry Unbirthday and the Mini Diecut Stacks. I found the colors of the Bright Mini Stack perfectly accent the Unbirthday papers and make layering a breeze.
