Welcome to winter, and a RAK!

Well, 2010 has certainly started off cold and snowy for us here in Ohio. I LOVE that! Today we are in the grips of a storm that is supposed to dump 3-6". The snow began falling about an hour ago, and thankfully wasn't that bad as I had to pick Rylie up from preschool. I DO however, have to go to work tonight so I will have to venture out onto bad roads a little later. That doesn't really bother me, I am a very good winter weather driver. Now everyone else, on the other hand, tend to scare me! That said, I am sure I'll make it OK!

As I do love winter and snow so much, I have a few recent layouts to share:

I also have a small RAK of wintery embellishments up for grabs. All you have to do is leave me a comment here and tell me which one of my winter layouts you like best. I'll randomly draw for a winner next Wednesday, January 13. Good luck!

It was hard to pick one as I like them both....but, I guess I'll say the first one is my favorite. That blue really pops of the dark background.

hugs, Karen Lee

ps....I'll link your give-a-way over on my blog!

We have to pick one? But I love them both. I guess if I have to, Fresh Snow really catches my eye because of the all white with the pop of red. :)

Both of them are so beautiful! I love how you accented the snowflakes with ink on the "Fresh Snow" Lo, so I am gonna have to go with that one!! Be careful driving in the snow!!! :)

WOW a hard one as they most equally as stunning. I will go for the first one and ONLY cos you used my fave colour of aqua blue in it. may have to scraplift both of these. TFS

Love the mostly white one- just seems so snowy. Love that fabric addition too.

I'm going with Fresh Snow. I love the round shape, as well as the stark white with tinges of blue and pops of read. The other one is nice, but the white one is so striking.

Fresh Snow! I love all the white with the dark red accents. And I'm a sucker for snowflakes. And the lace is so perfect. Love it!!

Yaiks, do I really have to choose. I love them both, but if I really would have to choose I think I like the first one best, but that´s just because I have to choose.

They´re both really lovely LO´s

Both of them are wonderful, but I think I like the Making Friends a little bit more.

I love your pages, they are great! I read your "about me" section and I can SO relate! When I did traditional only I was addicted to buying all the pretty papers, ribbons, every new tool, you get the picture... I do mostly digital now that I have discovered it doesn't have to look all flat and fake, or I sometimes mix the two. Of course I still buy lots of digital papers and such, but I seem to actually get some scrapping done instead of just looking... My heart still skips a few beats when I see traditional supplies, but since I have a number of containers of supplies already, I try to control myself. I look forward to seeing more work on here!
