Happy National Scrapbook Day! Ready For A challenge?

YAY, it's finally here! A whole day to play with paper, embellies, and glue and make all kinds of pretty things! Are you ready to join me and craft your day away? Are you ready to get down to business and tackle my challenge? Here goes nothing..

I'm keeping my challenge very simple, and here it is:

Scrap something using your favorite color combo..

Yep, that is it! Easy, right? And I am making it even easier, because you can make ANYTHING. Layouts, cards, tags, mini albums, altered pieces.. Anything goes here. Also, I do not mind in the slightest if you mix this challenge in with any others you find on different sites. You can kill two birds with one stone, lol, no worries!

So, what do you need to do exactly?

* Scrap something using your favorite color combo.

* Then go post it either on your blog or any scrappy gallery like Two Peas, Scrapbook.com, A Cherry On Top etc. (If you don't have any galleries or blog, you can post it to a photo sharing site like Flickr, that is fine.)

* Come back here to my blog, and leave me a comment that includes the link to your project so I can see it!

* This challenge closes at 7 A.M. Eastern Standard Time on Sunday, May 6, 2012. Have your link listed in my comments section by then to be eligible to win.

On Sunday, I will draw a name from all the participants, and one lucky player will win this lovely prize:

Along with that, Scrap n' Art is generously including a free one year subscription to their online magazine! Aren't they wonderful for doing that! Check them out on Facebook for even more opportunities for great prizes!

I took on my own challenge, and scrapped in my favorite color combination of turquoise, lime green, and yellow on this tag..

Now, what are you waiting for? Go get crafty and show me what you've got! Good luck and happy scrapping!

Here's mine. Maybe it's not a combo, per se, but anyone who knows anything about me knows how I feel about pink. I used lots of different shades, and I do love green as an accent with pink. ;) Thanks for hosting, chica!

I am so excited, even though my day was jammed packed, I was able to play with your challenge.
I had already done a blog post for today, so I will give you my project from my 2peas gallery :)
I love the colour combination of burgundy and pink.
Funny as most of my projects are usually vintage.
I guess this is my girly side coming out ;)

Hi, Here is my entry: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/476837/view/3618769/-1/1.html I had been wanting to do something artsy with this birdcage but I felt a little out of my element so thank you for this challenge as it gave me the push I needed. I used my favourite colour combo of green, brown and a kind of burgundy shade. I have never done a challenge on a blog so I hope I am posting this correctly. Happy National Scrapbooking Day!

This game is very exciting! I’m curious who the lucky winner was, and how he/she designed the scrapbook! Surely, the winner liked this giveaway prize that you prepared. I hope you will launch another contest like this. This contest is a good way of showcasing our artistic abilities.
