It's Saturday, and my kids are away for the day at grandma's house. That means I get to play! And play, I did! I got messy. Really crazy-train messy. That sort of thing just makes my soul smile. Just look at these messes:
On this one, I layered some May Arts ribbon and old sheet music onto the page first, then just spilled a ton of paint on it. Doesn't that look crazy? How in the world am I going to scrap a layout on top of THAT??
There is also THIS mess to share:
OK, so that isn't AS messy! To add texture here I glued down some burlap and my title before covering them with gesso and splashing on some turquoise Dylusions mist.
Now, I bet you are wondering how these turned out once dry? Well, I have to say I really like the results of both pages. The first one, that crazy-pool-of-paint-mess... It ended up like this:
Pretty cool huh? While the paint was still wet, I tipped the sheet vertically, while standing over my sink of course, and allowed gravity to do my dirty work.
How about the other page? I added lots of layers to that one, and here is the final result:
What do you think? Do these pages inspire you to play with paint?

They're both beautiful. :)
I agree with genie, they're both beautiful. The message in your first lo I just LOVE; your overall design in the second is just STUNNING. What can I say? Love at first sight!
