Today is my dad's 72nd birthday! I always stress the "manly" cards, I just never feel like I do them right. This time though, I actually DO like what I came up with. I used a package of tool themed charms from Stanislaus, and attached them with brads onto a thin cork sheet.
The goal was to make a tool pegboard, I think it looks pretty good. Do you think he will like it?

Some Saturday Scrapping...
Today I went to Michael's, and found they had just put out some Heidi Swapp goodies! Well, I couldn't pass that up, oh NO... Here's my haul:
Of course I had to break into those mistable surfaces right away, and I set to work. The Color Shine colors I bought were Mustard, Primrose, and Teal. I used them on this page, really love the 12 x 12 mistable sheet for a background..
I also scrapped a photo of my daughter and her daddy as they were leaving for their father-Daughter dance last week. They were so happy, and they had a great time. I am glad I got pics of this memory!
What have YOU done today/this weekend? Link a gal up and I'll visit you!

A Moxxie Unbirthday Card!
Today I'm sharing a birthday card made with Moxxie's Very Merry Unbirthday collection. This is the perfect line for a bold, bright birthday celebration! Have a look:
I used torn strips of the papers, and cut the awesome cake out of the corner of one of them too. Layering it on a doily makes it pop off the card a little! What do you think, would you like to receive a card like this on your birthday??

A Valentine Card with Globecraft & Piccolo!
Hi everyone! Today I want to share a quick tip about the Globecraft & Piccolo charm sets. While they make beautiful jewelry pieces, they can also be used in other ways. Take a look at the Key To My Heart charm set.
It's so beautiful, right!?
With Valentine's Day coming, I really wanted to use this set on a card. I colored the large filigree heart charm with G&P Napthol Red Cool Set Gel. This stuff is awesome, it dries to a beautiful enamel shine!
I tied a little twine onto the bail and then added it to my card. I love the look!

For my Western Round Up project I used a cute photo of my son playing on a bouncy horse. We found a local pumpkin farm last fall that had kids' activities and this was the favorite! The "fun" feeling of the picture works great with the colors and papers!
