Teacher Thank You Cards

I cannot believe that today is my son's last day of preschool! In the fall he'll be heading to kindergarden, my how fast they grow! Since it was his last day, I had to come up with a good thank you gift for his teachers. A few weeks ago I sent some "prettied up" flower flats to my daughter's school for Teacher Appreciation Week. I liked them and decided to do the same thing. These are very easy and inexpensive. They are also a big hit!

For the flowers, simply use Fabri Tac or a glue gun to adhere jute to the plastic flat. Apply adhesive to it as you wrap the jute around the base. Hold it in place for a minute and it will stay put. Pretty that up with some ribbon tied in a bow. For the cards, I used Child's Play from Moxxie. This line is fun and playful, and perfect for a teacher gift! I made the cards small and adhered a popsicle stick to the back so they could be inserted into the soil of the plants.

On the inside, my son signed his name. He loved giving these to his teachers today!
